Trenbolone
is one of those veterinary steroids that are quite effective in
inducing muscle mass and strength gains in animals that bodybuilders
cannot help but try them out themselves. Thus, although no
trenbolone
compound has received the stamp of approval of the
US Food and Drug
Administration for human consumption, trenbolone esters are still in
great demand among nonmedical users of steroids.
Trenbolone
is a 19-nortestoterone, derived from the anabolic hormone nandrolone (
Deca
Durabolin). It is so named because a testosterone molecule
has been modified at the 19th position, resulting to a new compound.
Trenbolone shares similarities with its base hormone; however,
trenbolone also exhibits more desirable bodybuilding assets than
nandrolone.
This steroid has great binding affinity with the androgen receptors
plus it does not undergo aromatization. Aromatization is a process that
converts testosterone to estrogen, which is called the primary female
hormone. Since trenbolone is resistant to aromatization it remains
potent and effective when binding with the ARs.
Nandrolone is said to
be weaker when compared with trenbolone in this regard.
And because trenbolone does not convert to estrogen it follows that it
does not cause estrogenic side effects. With other mass builders, most
of the muscle gains are attributed to water retention, which will give
you the smooth and bloated look. Further, the effects of water
retention are not only limited to physical symptoms, but also to
physiological disorders, including cardiovascular problems. In short,
with trenbolone you can easily avoid these health problems generally
associated with reliable mass
steroids.
But don’t think that you will not get substantial muscle growth with
trenbolone because, as mentioned above, it binds really well with the
androgen receptors. How well? To compare, you got testosterone on one
hand and
trenbolone
on the other. You know why testosterone belongs to the A-list? It’s
because it is a reliable mass builder boasting of an androgenic score
of 100. But you better tip the scale to this side as trenbolone gets an
androgenic score of 500! Plus,
testosterone aromatizes so on several
points testosterone loses out to trenbolone.
Moreover, trenbolone promotes nitrogen retention, the ability of the
body to hold on to its critical
nitrogen to facilitate anabolism.
Positive nitrogen retention is the most ideal scenario for anabolism to
occur.
Trenbolone is available in two esters – trenbolone acetate and
trenbolone enanthate.
Trenbolone
cyclohexylmethylcarbonate, more popularly known as
Parabolan,
has been discontinued by France-based NEGMA Laboratories.
Trenbolone acetate, known by its trade name of
Fina or
Finajet, has been
introduced in the United States and Europe in the 1980s. One noteworthy
characteristic of trenbolone acetate is its immediate bodybuilding
activity because this ester is fast acting with an active life of one
to two days.
The bodybuilding
dosage
of trenbolone ranges from 200mg-1400mg per week. Keep in
mind that that as you increase the dosage you also increase the risk of
you experiencing side effects.
Short-term side effects with trenbolone include insomnia, increased
libido, and night sweats.
In the case of the trenbolone acetate, dosages are typically split into
injections at least every two days.
Trenbolone enanthate is injected
once a week.
